Based on the award-winning film Poetic License, this standards-based curriculum packet gives educators the tools they need to engage their students in the exciting world of spoken word poetry.
Hidden Heroes
HIDDEN HEROES ARE EVERYWHERE!
Hidden Heroes is a hands-on, standards-based curriculum that asks youth to tell the stories of their communities through the heroes and leaders who live and work there. Developed in conjunction with Community Works, the curriculum is modeled after their ground-breaking Harlem Is… project.

This 194 page curriculum guide for grades 4-8 (easily extended for high school) includes lesson plans and activities that engage students in analyzing, evaluating, and understanding media. Activities help students to:
Senior Year
As an accompaniment to Senior Year, the 13-episode television series aired on PBS, this 20-page youth health guide in English and Spanish is a planning guide for youth understand the issues and take action.
Health and Media
Following the success of our Peer Health and Media Education Program (PHAME), Just Think is in development of a comprehensive curriculum that will engage students in both media literacy and media production around different health topics.
